Why History and Research Shows That The World May End By 2060

Ever wondered when the world will end? This same question has been in the minds of many people. Even the greatest minds have pondered on this idea such as Sir Isaac Newton who predicted that the world would end in 2060. It might sound horrifying but there is just one problem about his prediction. It was strictly religious.
Sir Isaac Newton is one of the most famous contributors to modern science. His contributions to the theory of gravity and newton's three laws shaped the modern world and perception about physics but his prediction about when the world end was not scientific.
Newton’s prediction about the end of the world had first been recognized in a newsletter, published by a British newspaper called the daily telegraph in 2003. In Newton's notes, it was found that he had tried to decode the bible as he thought it contained the date the world would end. In his notes he had scribbled the date of 2060 as he thought this was the date of the apocalypse.
Though we may be relieved that his predictions were solely religious, but new scientific research shows that the end may come sooner. One of the most important and crucial problems in the world today include climate change. The effect of climate change can be worse than most people think. Due to the increase of abnormal temperatures in the air, there is more methane gases in our atmosphere. The excessive amount of methane in our atmosphere can cause holes in the ozone layer which protects the earth from UV rays.
Without the ozone layer, the sun can cause glaciers to melt and water to evaporate. Without water there would be no agriculture and natural resources. Soon there would be war over natural resources.
Now how do we avoid this situation? To create an alternative and better future for us and our future generations we have to stop the excessive release of methane, carbon and other greenhouse gasses. Our first priority is to stop burning fossil fuels and think about other renewable sources of energy we can adopt. Our second priority is to think of ways we can reduce the amount of greenhouse gasses right now and hopefully together we can create a better and safer world.
